Position Overview
The Social Media Manager will oversee all aspects of our social media presence. You will develop and execute our social media strategy in order to foster engagement, brand loyalty, and drive traffic to our website and platforms. This role encompasses everything from maintaining our brand voice to analyzing performance metrics, and you will be instrumental in building an online community around our services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with brand objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Create, curate, and manage published content across social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Engage with followers, respond to inquiries in a timely manner, and monitor customer feedback.
- Establish and maintain a consistent brand voice across all platforms.
- Analyze social media metrics and adjust strategies based on performance data, staying up-to-date with social media trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, public relations, and customer service to ensure a cohesive brand message.
- Manage social media advertising campaigns and budgets to optimize performance.
- Research and identify trends in social media community insights to inform future content strategies.
- Train and mentor junior staff or interns within the social media department.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, tools, and the latest trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data and provide insightful recommendations for improvement.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling.
- Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite) is a plus.
